This was good for a laugh.
I'm fascinated that a man who thinks so much of himself misstates his birthday. He made the statement on 15 July 2011. He was born on 04 August 1961. That's more like 3 weeks.
(Don't go thinking I'm a "Birther" or anything like that.)
Maybe he's been talking about "trillions" and "hundreds of billions" for so long that the difference between 1 and 3 is a rounding error.
I just think he's so caught up in his ideology and in executing his agenda on America and its people - especially the middle class - that he is not present. He is actually and completely unaware of the day, the date, the place and the time.
Focused.
Just like conservatives MUST be in order to defeat the emasculation that he would continue to perpetrate on the last best hope of humanity on earth; the United States of America.

But really, for this president, time is running out. He has only a finite number of days before he is likely to be removed from power.
Even if he is re-elected, it's likely that he'll lose control of the Senate in 2012.
He has no time to waste in getting things done. America is a country in decline, but it's a big ship to try to sink in just 4 years.
But I agree with you, Kaylene. What purpose could lying about his birthday possibly serve? What purpose did mentioning his birthday serve in this conversation?
Does he really think that he's going to appeal to the huge demographic of multi-racial men turning 50 on the 22nd of July by pretending to be born "just like them"?
Imagine Joe Budweiser sitting on his couch watching this press conference and shouting, "Hay Hunny! I never did lahk thet gah, but he got mah saime burth-day. I think Ima gon vote fer him this here lection!"
